room temperature monitors Quinta da Plansel, located on the Alentejo province, it’s part of D.O.C area of Évora, and is placed 100km from Lisbon. The winery produces about 350.000 litres every year and owns 70 hectares of vineyards. Before entering the winery, the grapes are kept in a refrigerated room overnight to reduce their temperature to 10ºC. During fermentation, the wines are monitored daily in a well-equipped laboratory in order to have a proper and exact quality control After the fermentation, the wines mature accordingly to their individual process: in stainless steel tanks or barrels made of French oak. The winery produces both red and white quality wines.
